The Ayawaso West Municipal Assembly is emphasizing the importance of green spaces in buildings to improve air quality in Accra. Hon. Dr. Michael Mensah, MCE Ayawaso West, noted that the rapid development of houses without vegetation is compromising the quality of air in the city.

Green spaces play a crucial role in absorbing impurities and particulate matter from the atmosphere, improving the quality of air we breathe. This is especially important in urban areas like Accra, where air pollution can have serious health consequences.
