Ablekuma North MCE Promises Monthly Projects Until December

The Municipal Chief Executive for Ablekuma North, Kalamu Adamu Musah, has promised to commission a new development project every month in the constituency from now until December.

Mr. Musah made the announcement during the commissioning of a new toilet and washroom facility for a school in the area on Sunday.

He thanked President John Dramani Mahama for support through the Common Fund, and also acknowledged the efforts of the Member of Parliament, Hon. Ewurabena Aubynn

“The contractor assured us he would hand over this facility within four months, and he has delivered. We now appeal to the school management to take good care of it,” he said.

Mr. Musah said the assembly plans to add a six-unit primary school block to the school. He added that development will not stop there.

“This is not the end. Every month from now till December, we are going to commission a new project in Ablekuma North,” he stated.

He noted that the constituency faces many challenges, including flooding and poor road infrastructure, after being under NPP administration for 28 years.

However, he said the government’s ‘Big Push’ projects are bringing changes to areas like Hausi, Pashigu and others. He also cited the construction of an astro turf at Methodist University and new classroom blocks at McLean Cluster of Schools as part of efforts to support youth and education.

“We are taking a holistic approach to bring development to the good people of Ablekuma North. We urge the community to keep supporting His Excellency the President and our MP so we can bring the reset agenda to Ablekuma,” Mr. Musah said.
