The UCMAS (Universal Concept Mental Arithmetic System) Director in Ghana, Girish Gurban, is set to host the 14th UCMAS National Competition, organized by Maurya Education Limited, on August 9-10, 2025, at the Pentecost Convention Centre in Kasoa. This year’s competition promises to be a spectacular event, featuring talented young minds from across Ghana, including regions such as Tamale, Bolgatanga, Volta, and Akim Oda.

For the first time, the competition will run over two days, with participants arriving on Friday, August 8, to engage in a rigorous mental arithmetic competition.
A highlight of this year’s competition is the introduction of a National League, where children from different areas will compete to take the champion title.

While the majority of participating schools are private, Maurya Education Limited has expressed its commitment to collaborating with government schools, working towards extending its programs to reach more children across Ghana.
