The Ghana Hotels Association, a 50-year-old organization, has marked its milestone anniversary with a donation to the Tema General Hospital. The association’s second vice president and chairperson for the 50th anniversary planning committee, Juliet Taylagan, stated that the donation is part of the association’s corporate social responsibility.
The donation included essential items such as detergents, confectioneries, cleaning and housekeeping materials, diapers, water, and food. A cash donation of GHc 15,000 was also made, bringing the total value of the donation to GHc 50,000. The association chose the children’s block of the hospital, believing that the children need support and wanting to put smiles on their faces.
