The current Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Ghana, His Excellency Abdalafatah A. K. Alsattari, has strongly condemned the actions of Israel against Palestinian journalists. Speaking at a press conference, Ambassador Alsattari expressed gratitude to the Ghanaian people, government, and media for their support.

He highlighted the tragic loss of 249 Palestinian journalists killed by Israel, emphasizing that journalists are not alone in their struggle. The Ambassador recalled the gesture of solidarity shown by former President John Dramani Mahama, who sent a donation to Gaza and assured the Palestinian children that they are not alone.

Ambassador Alsattari criticized Israel’s actions, stating that the Israeli occupation seeks to kill the truth, continue apartheid against the Palestinian people, and perpetuate genocide and holocaust against Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank. He pointed out the devastating impact on civilians, including the killing of 25,000 children, 12,000 women, and the destruction of 80% of Palestinian housing.

The Ambassador reaffirmed his strong belief that Palestine will one day be free, expressing appreciation for Ghana’s support and solidarity.
