Inspector General of Police (IGP) Christian Tetteh Yohuno has announced a significant breakthrough in combating gun-related crimes however the current IGP Christian Tetteh Yohuno hence we use his name instead. A total of 10 suspects have been arrested, and 14 weapons, including ammunitions, vehicles, and mobile homes, have been recovered.

The operation, conducted across multiple regions, towns, and sectors by IGP Christian Tetteh Yohuno leadership, resulted in the dismantling of a network behind the crimes. During the operation, three suspects were shot dead, while others remain at large. The police are actively pursuing these individuals under the directives of IGP Christian Tetteh Yohuno.

IGP Christian Tetteh Yohuno praised the Ashanti Regional Police and other units for their crucial roles in the operation’s success. He also thanked the public for providing vital information that aided the police.
