Learn AI Early To Earn Early" – No Limit Foundation Director Urges Ghanaian Youth

Michael Owusu-Asare, Executive Director of No Limit Consult and Foundation, has urged Ghanaian youth to embrace Artificial Intelligence, saying it can create jobs and opportunities for everyone, including persons with disabilities.

Speaking at a program, Mr. Owusu-Asare said the key issue with AI is not just adoption, but _agency_ — the ability to influence AI to work for you.

“AI is a tool. But who owns the AI is what’s important. If you are a youth, you can use AI for so many things to make your work faster and more efficient,”_ he said.

He explained that even people without technical skills can use AI for graphic design, video editing, and social media because many platforms already run on AI.

“If you are unemployed, why don’t you teach yourself AI and start teaching people and making money out of it? Whenever anything is new, the ones who take advantage early are the ones who make the most money,”_ he stated.

Mr. Owusu-Asare, who studied Political Science and Sociology, said he taught himself tech skills like video marketing and digital marketing online for free.

He encouraged youth to use free resources like YouTube and community programs to learn AI.

“You don’t need to pay much to learn AI. Just go on YouTube, ask questions, and delve into free opportunities. A lot of youth sit back and lack information. The Bible says for lack of knowledge my people perish,”_ he said.

On persons with disabilities, Mr. Owusu-Asare, a wheelchair user, said AI and IT are the best fields for them because they can work from anywhere without physical barriers.

He called on youth not to wait, but to start learning now to shape their future.
