“Galamsey: Citizens Demand Action, Not Excuses”

Okatakyie Afrifa Mensah, a concerned citizen, is calling on the government to take immediate action against galamsey (illegal mining) activities, which are affecting the health and well-being of people, especially children.

Galamsey activities are harming the lungs, kidneys, and livers of people, particularly children.

The government has been accused of lying about their intentions to address the issue, and citizens are demanding prompt action.

Citizens believe that the government cannot afford to take 10 or 20 years to address the issue, and that executive action can be taken to declare a state of emergency in affected regions.

Okatakyie Afrifa Mensah emphasizes that citizens cannot wait for the government to take action and demands that they take immediate steps to address the galamsey menace.
