Hon. Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, the Minister for Health, has addressed several pressing issues in the health sector, including the payment of nurses and pharmacists, the challenges facing the health system, and the government’s commitment to improving healthcare.
The Minister assured that all 6,000 nurses and midwives who have completed their training will be paid by November. He also stated that the government is working to resolve the issue of pharmacists who completed their training in 2024 but have not received financial clearance.
