"TECHAiDE Empowers 200 Teachers with Digital Skills, Impacting 8,900 Learners"

The Chief Executive Officer of TECHAiDE, Mr. Kafui Prebbie, has expressed excitement over the success of the organization’s tier one training and education innovation labs project. According to Mr. Prebbie, the project has equipped over 200 teachers with essential digital competencies, which will ultimately benefit approximately 8,900 learners.

Mr. Prebbie emphasized that the project represents more than just a training milestone; it symbolizes hope, transformation, and the power of collective action. TECHAiDE’s mission is to deliver technology solutions that empower people, and this project embodies that mission.

The project has been made possible through partnerships with various organizations, including UNICEF, UNESCO, the Ministry of Education, and the Ghana Education Service. Mr. Prebbie praised these partners for their commitment to working together towards a common vision.

The training has not only equipped teachers with digital skills but has also ignited confidence in them to embrace new ways of teaching and learning. Mr. Prebbie noted that the project is creating a movement, with the goal of establishing a community of digitally equipped teachers who will become the hallmark and benchmark for others.

Mr. Prebbie expressed his conviction that the Education Innovation Labs project should not stop after the initial 24-month period. Instead, he believes that it should continue to grow and expand, with the potential to recruit more partners and secure additional funding.

TECHAiDE is planning to invest further in the project, with a potential investment of $200,000 to sustain and grow the Education Innovation Labs. Mr. Prebbie has called on partners and friends to commit to the project through direct funding or resource sharing.

The project aims to improve education in Ghana by providing digital learning solutions to students and teachers, particularly in underserved communities.

The Asanka platform, developed by TECHAiDE, offers practical learning experiences aligned with the national academic program and enables parents and teachers to monitor learners’ progress offline.
