Alfred Ababio Kumi, also known as Adenta Kumi, has announced his candidacy for National Youth Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP). In a passionate speech, he outlined his vision to make the party’s youth wing more attractive and relevant to young people.
Kumi’s mission focuses on restoring hope and opportunities for Ghana’s youth. His plans include establishing a National Youth Secretariat and implementing a youth policy to address youth concerns. He aims to promote skills development and job creation through technology, agri-entrepreneurship, and industry, recognizing the potential of these sectors to drive economic growth.
To build community presence, Kumi plans to create a national youth club, ensuring the NPP’s presence in every community. He also intends to build a youth mobilization hub to showcase the party’s achievements and involve youth in decision-making processes.
Kumi emphasized the need for youth involvement in decision-making, saying, “We are not just campaign participants, we want to be part of the decision-making process.” He pledged to serve the people and the party with passion and dedication, addressing concerns about youth representation.
Addressing potential doubts, Kumi’s campaign highlights his experience working with youth groups and his commitment to grassroots engagement. He plans to engage with youth in rural areas through community outreach programs, skills training, and entrepreneurship initiatives, addressing specific concerns such as access to education, employment, and healthcare.
Kumi’s vision for the NPP’s youth wing includes increasing youth representation in government and promoting youth-led initiatives. He aims to make the party more attractive to young people by showcasing its relevance and impact on their lives.
