“Borteyman Police Station Commissioned to Enhance Community Safety”

The Minister for the Interior, Hon. Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak, has commissioned the Borteyman Police Station, emphasizing the importance of community policing and collaboration in maintaining law and order. The Minister praised the efforts of young men in the community who have been assisting the police in identifying and combating crime.

The Minister commended the community’s efforts in helping the police fight crime and encouraged the Inspector General of Police to support community initiatives.

The Minister donated four motorbikes to support the police station’s operations and pledged to finance the installation of CCTV cameras.

The Minister also offered to pay for three apartments for police officers, in addition to the two apartments promised by the President Association, to support the station’s staffing needs.

The Minister urged the community to continue supporting the police and to work within the confines of the law when assisting in crime prevention. He also encouraged the police to engage with the community, listen to their concerns, and serve with dedication and respect.

The Minister officially commissioned the Borteyman Police Station, expressing confidence that it would mark a new chapter in the community’s journey towards a stronger and safer environment.
