“Rotary Club of Accra-SpeakMasters Marks New Era of Leadership and Service”

The Rotary Club of Accra-SpeakMasters recently held a vibrant Presidential Handover Ceremony, marking a significant leadership transition as Immediate Past President Dzifa Sogbe-Adranyi handed over the presidential mantle to President Leslie Emegbuonye. The ceremony celebrated a successful year of impactful service and ushered in a new era of inspired leadership under the Rotary International theme: Unite for Good.

In her outgoing address, Immediate Past President Dzifa Sogbe-Adranyi reflected on an impressive Rotary year, during which the club successfully achieved 21 out of 26 strategic goals. The club’s projects included a transformative initiative in partnership with Afrilogic Solutions, benefiting 100 children from four basic schools in Agona Abodom, and a series of transformative projects that directly aligned with six of Rotary’s seven focus areas.

In his inaugural address, President Leslie Emegbuonye outlined a bold yet inclusive vision for the club, emphasizing a three-pronged approach: amplifying the club’s community impact, investing in member development, and boldly communicating Rotary’s story to the world. He affirmed his dedication to uplifting communities and enhancing collective impact, starting at the club level.

The Rotary Club of Accra-SpeakMasters is part of Rotary District 9104, which aims to strengthen clubs, grow membership, and make service more impactful across borders. Globally, Rotary International boasts over 1.2 million members across more than 200 countries and territories, united in their mission to serve underprivileged communities.
