Strengthening Partnerships to Drive Innovation and Inclusive Entrepreneurship

On Monday, February 9, 2026, the Chief Executive Officer of the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP), Mr. Eric Adjei, Esq., the Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Ms. Joan Selasie Ahiawordor, Esq., and the Management Team of NEIP paid a courtesy call on the Deputy Resident Representative and other officials of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
The meeting focused on strengthening collaboration between NEIP and UNDP, with discussions centered on deepening partnerships to drive innovation and support entrepreneurship across the country, particularly under the Adwumawura Programme.
Over the past two years, NEIP has partnered with UNDP on the Young Africa Innovates Project, an initiative that has provided support to innovators nationwide, with a special focus on women, persons with disabilities (PWDs), and atypical innovators.
Both institutions reaffirmed their commitment to working together to promote innovation, strengthen entrepreneurship, and create sustainable job opportunities for Ghanaians.
