The Ghana Hotels Association has officially endorsed Raphael (Ralph) Mawuenyega Kojo Ayitey, CEO of Coconut Grove Hotels, for the position of President of the Association of Ghana Industries (AGI) in the upcoming national elections.

Ayitey, a seasoned leader with over two decades of dedicated service to AGI, has been praised for his collaborative, forward-thinking, and results-driven leadership style. His contributions to the hospitality industry and AGI have been outstanding, with initiatives promoting local sourcing, job creation, youth empowerment, and sustainable industrial growth.

The Ghana Hotels Association cites Ayitey’s commitment to making AGI financially independent, delivering stronger secretariat performance, and creating wider market access for members as key reasons for their endorsement.

The election is scheduled to take place on November 27, 2025, during the AGI Annual General Meeting. The Ghana Hotels Association urges all members who are part of AGI to support and vote for Ayitey.
