The Accra AI Agent Conference 2025 is set to take place in Ghana, marking a significant milestone in the region’s adoption of artificial intelligence. Organized by Samuel Adranyi, CEO of Afrilogic and member of the Global AI Community, the event aims to create awareness and equip individuals with the skills to leverage AI for productivity and resourcefulness.

The conference is a collaborative effort with Microsoft, providing attendees with hands-on experience and access to credits to try out AI models. This initiative is part of the global AI community’s efforts to expand AI adoption, with the Accra chapter planning to host monthly events.

The whole motive of this event is to create awareness of AI agents and to learn how to leverage AI to be more productive and resourceful. The role of this goal, partnering with Microsoft, is to bring that whole scale down for students, enthusiasts, hobbyists, and professionals who want to learn how to build AI and use AI agents to better themselves.

The conference will cover topics such as building AI models, utilizing AI agents, and exploring the potential of AI in various industries. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in hands-on activities, try out AI models, and learn from experts in the field.

In the next five years, AI is expected to play a more significant role in Ghana, with increased adoption across industries. The Accra AI Agent Conference 2025 serves as a catalyst for this growth, empowering Ghanaians to develop and harness AI solutions that address local challenges.

Technically, a lot of Ghanaian startups are doing things in AI, but there is a need to accelerate the pace of AI adoption and develop locally tailored AI models. The conference aims to bring awareness and skills to Ghanaians and Africans to start building their own AI models.

The Accra chapter plans to host monthly events, and the organizers are working on regional tours to reach a broader audience.

The conference is expected to attract attendees from various backgrounds, including students, professionals, and entrepreneurs.
