"IPR Ghana Hosts 2025 National Public Relations Summit in Takoradi"

The Institute of Public Relations (IPR), Ghana, is set to host its 2025 National Public Relations Summit from November 13th to 15th, 2025, at the Western Serene Atlantic Hotel in Takoradi. The summit’s theme is “Reimagining Public Relations in a Contemporary World,” and it will bring together PR professionals from across Ghana to share ideas and celebrate excellence in the profession. The event will feature a conference, Annual General Meeting, induction ceremony, Legends Night, and Excellence Awards Night.

The conference, scheduled for November 13th, will explore emerging trends and challenges in public relations and communications, providing a forum for practitioners to discuss the latest developments in the field.

The Annual General Meeting on November 14th will review IPR Ghana’s progress and discuss strategic priorities for the coming year, offering members an opportunity to shape the Institute’s future direction.

The induction ceremony will welcome newly qualified members who have successfully completed various levels of the IPR, Ghana Accreditation Programme, recognizing their commitment to professional development. Legends Night, also on November 14th, will honor Dr. Ekwow Spio-Grabrah with a mentorship program, bringing together distinguished senior PR professionals and emerging practitioners to facilitate knowledge sharing and inspire young professionals to pursue excellence in the profession.

The Excellence Awards Night, with Nana Kobina Nketsia, Paramount Chief of Esikado Traditional area, as the Special Guest of Honour, will celebrate outstanding achievements in public relations, recognizing individuals and organizations that have demonstrated innovation, integrity, and professionalism in their work.

IPR Ghana President, Ms. Esther A. N. Cobbah, emphasized the importance of innovation and integrity in public relations, stating that the summit is a moment of reflection, renewal, and rededication to the profession’s values. “As communicators, we must continue to innovate and lead with integrity, ensuring that our work strengthens connection, understanding, and progress in society,” she said.
