Story by Fati Ali
The National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP) has engaged the Venture Capital Trust Fund (VCTF) in a strategic discussion aimed at strengthening collaboration in support of the Adwumawura Programme.
The engagement, which took place on February 9, 2026, brought together the Chief Executive Officer, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, and Management Team of NEIP to explore avenues for deepening financial support for high-impact businesses emerging from the Adwumawura Programme.
As part of this collaboration, the Venture Capital Trust Fund is establishing an Adwumawura Fund, dedicated to providing targeted financing to promising enterprises developed under the programme. This initiative is expected to significantly enhance access to capital for beneficiaries and accelerate business growth.
The Chief Executive Officer of NEIP expressed appreciation to the Venture Capital Trust Fund for its openness, commitment, and continued partnership, particularly in relation to the establishment of the Adwumawura Fund. He noted that the collaboration reflects a shared vision to empower entrepreneurs and scale sustainable businesses across the country.
The engagement marks another important milestone in NEIP’s ongoing efforts to support entrepreneurship, strengthen small and medium-sized enterprises, and create sustainable livelihoods for Ghanaians through the Adwumawura Programme.
This partnership aligns with His Excellency John Dramani Mahama’s RESET Agenda, which seeks to transform Ghana’s economy and create decent and sustainable job opportunities for the youth.
