The Digital Assets Summit Africa (DASA) has announced its theme for the 2026 event: “From Policy to Prosperity: Scaling Digital Assets for Jobs, Investment, and Economic Growth”. The summit, scheduled to take place in September 2026, aims to showcase the potential of digital assets to create job opportunities, investment opportunities, and establish a framework for regulating digital assets.

Speaking at a press conference, Peter Frimpong Manso, CEO of DASA, highlighted the growing interest in digital assets in Ghana and beyond. He emphasized the importance of educating the public about digital assets, including tokenization of assets, blockchain technology, and cryptocurrency.

The summit will feature master classes, roundtable discussions, and exhibitions, providing a platform for industry leaders, regulators, and innovators to network and collaborate. Registration is open for various categories, including startups, investors, delegates, media, and volunteers.

Manso encouraged the public to register for the summit and take advantage of the opportunities it presents. He also urged traditional banking systems to participate in the event, saying they should not leave it to others.

The Ghana government is working on a bill to regulate digital assets, and DASA aims to provide a platform for discussion and education on the topic. The summit is expected to attract industry leaders and provide opportunities for startups to pitch to investors.
