"Agloshi Market Crackdown: Clean Ghana Campaign"

Story by Fada Amakye

The Agloshi Municipal Assembly, led by the Public Health Director, Madam Florence Kuukyi, has initiated a clean-up exercise to enforce environmental sanitation regulations and restore order in the market. The initiative, dubbed the “Clean Ghana Campaign Train,” aims to ensure compliance with rules and regulations governing food handling and street trading.

The authorities have given vendors selling goods on the roadside an ultimatum to move into the market, citing concerns over public health, traffic obstruction, and flooding. Anyone found violating the rules will be arrested, including customers patronizing them.

The Clean Ghana Campaign Train will move every week to enforce environmental sanitation regulations and promote a clean environment. The authorities emphasize that this is not a one-time exercise but an ongoing effort to sanitize the district and protect public health.

The Municipal Assembly is committed to ensuring the health and well-being of residents. The enforcement of environmental sanitation regulations is aimed at preventing accidents, protecting lives, and promoting a clean and safe environment.

The campaign serves as a reminder to residents and businesses to adhere to environmental sanitation regulations and work together to maintain a clean and healthy environment.
