The Mineral Development Fund, led by Administrator Dr. Hanna Louisa, is implementing various initiatives to empower mining communities in Ghana. The fund aims to provide opportunities for young people, people with disabilities, and communities to benefit from mineral resources.

Key Initiatives:
Drone Fabrication and Manufacturing: Training 1,500 young people, including those with disabilities, in drone fabrication and manufacturing for agricultural purposes.
Fish Farming and Aquaculture: Training 1,000 young people in fish farming and aquaculture, with each receiving a startup kit and technical support.
Poultry Farming: Introducing broiler and layer farming projects, with potential for 45-50% profit margins.
Land Bank Initiative: Collaborating with chiefs to establish land banks for the Mineral Development Fund, ensuring sustainable development and community benefits.
Environmental Conservation: Implementing measures to prevent environmental degradation and ensuring polluters pay for damages.

Partnerships and Community Engagement: The Mineral Development Fund is partnering with stakeholders, including businesses and chiefs, to bring development to mining communities. The fund is also engaging with communities to educate them on their rights and ensure that they benefit from mineral resources.
